Scale a Thon

The Scale-A-Thon is a fundraising event for the Herndon Regional Youth Orchestra. This helps fund scholarships, operating costs, and provide funding for additional professional coaching. Students have two months to learn as many of the 25 scales as possible. They earn pledged funds for each scale learned. You may pledge an amount per scale or a total flat donation. After the Scale-A-Thon, the musician will report back to you, letting you know how many scales they learned, and how much you owe. Checks should be made out to “The Music Loft”. Your donation is tax deductible.

MOST SCALES LEARNED 1st prize

The student who learns and correctly plays the most scales will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.

GRAND PRIZE

All students will be entered to win the grand prize which is $100 Amazon gift card.
